Robin McGraw is prepared to put an end to the rumors that she has had plastic surgery. The best-selling novelist has been the subject of much speculation from her readers, with many believing she has undergone plastic surgery to enhance her appearance. Dr. Phil McGraw’s wife has finally revealed her beauty secrets.
The 66-year-old actress admitted to undergoing cosmetic surgery a few years ago on this week’s episode of “I’ve Got a Secret! with Robin McGraw,” but clarified that it wasn’t a face-lift. She received an eyebrow transplant, which completely changed McGraw’s appearance.
“It symmetric alined my whole face,” she said. McGraw was unhappy with the way her eyebrows looked for quite some time before she discovered that cosmetic surgery may improve their appearance. “(My brows) were just not attractive because I tweezed them and they never grew back,” she stated on the episode.
A few years back, the author went to see Dr. Marc Dauer, a hair restoration specialist, and had a quick and painless procedure that “changed my look.” In light of Dauer’s recent minor surgery, McGraw invited her to appear on her show this week to talk about it.
Eyebrows are a prominent feature of a person’s face. What you’re wearing is like a photo frame on your face,” Dauer remarked. “If they are missing parts or they have to start over from the beginning, it will drastically change how you look.”
In order to restore Dauer’s eyebrows, she underwent a graft procedure in which hair follicles were transplanted from her scalp. Dauer has been using a newer, less invasive procedure called follicular unit extraction (FUE) with similar results.
Hair for either treatment can only be taken from the patient or an identical twin due to the inherent hazards involved. To put it simply, hair is an organ that plays an important role in maintaining the health of the body. Therefore, as indicated by Dauer, all of these immunosuppressive medicines would need to be taken prior to an organ transplant.
Dauer claims that half of his time is spent on eyebrow transplants because of their increasing popularity. He said that his patients regularly get comments like, “You seem younger” or “Did you lose weight?” They have been unable to make a proper diagnosis.
McGraw admitted that she had attempted to suppress her brows for quite some time on the podcast, and she thanked Dauer for making her feel more assured.
She said she felt insecure about her eyebrows, so that’s why she used bangs to hide them. In celebration of you and my new eyebrows, I’ve let my bangs grow out.
What Happened To Robin McGraw’s Face?
The actress and writer are married to the man behind Dr. Phil, and she has nothing but praise for him. Robin McGraw has appeared in Celebrity Family Feud (2008) and The Insider (2005). She also had two books published. She and her husband have been quite visible at public events and on television in recent years, giving people a chance to see how time has changed their appearance.
It’s no surprise that questions like “What has Dr. Phil’s wife done to her face?” are trending on Google. She appears slightly wrong since she has obviously had some sort of cosmetic facial surgery, such as a facelift or Botox. Her new look is the result of an eyebrow transplant, which she discussed on her podcast I’ve Got a Secret! with Robin McGraw.
She elaborated that she now felt that her face was the appropriate shape and size. A transplant of hair follicles from the scalp was used to fill up the brow area.
Robin McGraw claims that eyebrows are crucial because of their role in conveying emotion. A youthful and expressive appearance is conveyed by thick, well-defined eyebrows.
