The Kraken has returned to its lair. For the first time in Seattle since the year 1924, there will be postseason hockey played there. Unfortunately for them, they were unable to prevail against the Vancouver Millionaires, and as a result, no club from Vancouver advanced further in the playoffs. This is the last example of what a goaltender used to look like back in those days.
At that time, masks did not exist, and the PCHA was the location where the “penalty shot” was first developed. People who competed in sports in the past were widely regarded as being completely insane.
Also competing tonight is your team, the M’s, who played an outstanding game against St. Louis the day before; let’s keep that momentum going tomorrow!
In either case, I anticipate that this structure will be pulsating with activity. LET’S GO SQUIDS, GO KRAKEN!
