Who is Alexandra Cooper? The Call Her Daddy podcast host who seems to know every celebrity

Call Her Daddy, a podcast hosted by Alexandra Cooper and available on Spotify, has quickly become one of the most popular podcasts around, thanks in large part to the intelligent interviews it features.

The social media celebrity is well known for his chats with many celebs, including Hailey Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and most recently Cole Sprouse. He has connections that are unmatched by anybody else in the industry.

Despite her meteoric ascent to prominence, not a lot of people are aware of the fact that Call Her Daddy was conceptualized and created by her. The following information pertains to Alexandra Cooper. Before she became famous, Alexandra, who is now 28 years old and hails from Pennsylvania, led the life of a typical small-town girl living next door. Alex, on the other hand, left her family behind rather quickly in order to concentrate on her professional life.

She studied at Boston University and was a star athlete

Alexandra received a soccer scholarship to attend Boston University, where she also participated in the sport while she was there. She was a member of the division one team, which is considered to be among the very best in the sport. To summarize, Alex was a rather significant figure.

After graduating from Boston University in May 2017 with a degree in film and television, Alex wasted no time in relocating to New York City so that she could follow the career of her dreams. As soon as she settled in New York City, she shot to fame after being photographed sharing a passionate kiss with baseball player Noah Syndergaard.

Alex was introduced to Sofia Franklyn while in New York and it was with them that started the Call Her Daddy podcast. According to MyJournal, Alexandra and Sofia were on a night out and had a conversation about their dating life and someone overheard and suggested they start a podcast.

At the same time, Alexandra was trying to make it on YouTube and someone soon reached out about starting her own podcast she partnered up with Sofia, and Call Her Daddy was born.

David Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, got in touch with the pals and expressed interest in collaborating with them on the podcast after Call Her Daddy became popular and others started participating in it. The next thing either of them knew, the two of them had signed a contract with Barstool Sports for a duration of three years. Following that, “the podcast completely blew up,” as stated by Alex.

They were paid a total of $75,000, $85,000, and $100,000 for the podcast over the course of the three years. Once the buddies had asked for a raise at a later time and been denied it, David Portnoy made a U-turn and proposed a far higher amount of compensation. Yet, after this event, Alex and Sofia’s friendship started to become more distant from one another.
