Microsoft has shifted its attention on Windows 11 over a year back. The company has recently announced its Windows 11 2022 Update, which is also called Windows 11 version 22H2.

Although Windows 11 is Microsoft’s focus however, it’s not an operating system that is the sole one offered by Microsoft. Windows 10 2022 Update (Windows 10 version 22H2) Windows 10 2022 Update (Windows 10 version 22H2) has been available since this week.

The update doesn’t seem to contain any significant improvements. Microsoft’s blog post about the update only states that it’s “providing only a small amount of new functionality and features provided through familiar, speedy as well as reliable updates.”

The unclear statement doesn’t necessarily mean Microsoft not being transparent regarding what’s new. In fact, there’s a great possibility that there aren’t any significant changes in the update.

Although Windows 11 is the latest operating system by Microsoft however, many companies prefer to stay on Windows 10 for now.

This is normal, because organizations generally want to wait until the upgraded operating system has become stable before making the switch. Certain users also prefer to wait for major OS upgrades for a time.

One of the most significant things this Windows 10 2022 Update will do for all systems is ensure that they are supported. Windows 10 version 22H1 will be finished service on the 13th of December 2022.

Its Enterprise and Education editions of Windows 10 version 20H2 will be finished service on May 9, 2023. Following these cutoffs, Windows systems with previous versions of Windows won’t receive the regular security or quality updates.
