The second installation of the superhit anime series wrapped up its premiere earlier this year after being delayed from its initially scheduled release in early 2021 due to the complications of the covid pandemic. The second season ended at chapter 86 of the manga illustration. This gives us a hint that chapters 87 to 122 will be covered by the movie. Since there is lots of content, fans believe that some parts will be skipped in the series. Many speculations say that the movie will focus on the love story.
According to the manga, chapters 87 to 95 will be based on a flashback focused on Yotsuba. The viewers will get an in-depth understanding of Yotsuba’s past, and the reason why she is like that in the series. Chapters 96 to 104 tell about the school festival. In this part, Ichika spends a beautiful evening with Futaro and kisses him. From chapters 105 to 113, the continuation of the festival is depicted. The quintuplets told Futaro to go to the room of the person he wanted to date. So he went to the infirmary, which is Yotsuba’s room.

For the last volume, which covers chapters 114 to 122, Yotsuba did not accept Futaro’s choice as she knew that it would upset her sisters. It was published in 2017 through Kodansha’s “Weekly Shonen Magazine.” In 2019, the manga received an anime adaptation courtesy of Tezuka Productions. It has got 2 seasons. Season 1 was aired in 2019, January and has 12 episodes. After that, the producers aired the second season in 2021, January with 12 episodes. Now the show has been renewed for a new season.
