Florida Governor Ron DeSantis taking care of his sick wife, who is suffering from breast cancer. Whereas the governor’s spokesperson reacted towards the critics who blamed the governor to be on vacation while the state is facing the COVID surge.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is taking care of his sick wife as she went through her cancer treatment during the surging COVID-19 cases in the Florida state as per the statement given by the governor’s spokesperson.
Casey DeSantis, a wife of the Governor who is 41 years old and suffering from cancer, was earlier diagnosed with breast cancer in the last year October (2021). She was gone for her cancer treatment this Thursday as said in the statement given by the governor’s spokesperson to Fox News.
Critics blame the Governor as missing during the COVID surge in the state
Earlier the same day, the critics slammed the governor by marking him as” missing” while the whole Florida state was managing or dealing with the surging new variant COVID cases in the state.
Jerry Deming’s, slammed the Governor last week by remarking that the people of Florida should need to be outraged with the Governor for not being publicly present as the COVID cases are on the surge in the state. Jerry Deming is the Democratic mayor of Orange County.
Mr. Deming’s added that the people should ask the question that where is our state governor. “Where is Mr. DeSantis currently being? When he was seen last time briefing the press in regards to the COVID-19 situation in the state?
Many other critics have further added via commenting on social media, where he is being accused of being “mysteriously absent/missing. “The other critics include the names Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.
Ocasio-Cortez shared a tweet during his visit to the Florida state, and where he questioned that hasn’t the governor of Florida Mr. DeSantis been mysteriously absent for like fourteen days/2 weeks now. Cortez further wrote that if the governor is around, then he would like to say hello to him. He also critics the governor by saying that the governor’s social media manager has been posting his old pictures for a long time.
He also added that meanwhile, maybe he could assist with nearby getting sorted out. Further Mr. Cortez was also pictured with the face mask while eating outside in Miami city.
Joy Reid, who is the MSNBC host and another governor critic, also joined the blame game by tweeting that Florida’s governor not overseeing during the COVID emergency; and sunning his belly on holiday instead.

Whereas on the response to the Joy Reid remark for the governor, Christina Pushaw tweeted back, who is the governor’s press secretary, by attaching the images of the DeSantis daily plan and also asked that “have he (Reid) at any point viewed as that he is the one reason that no one trusts the media sources.
Kyle Lamb, who is on the role of DeSantis communications staffer also reacted to the critic’s comment where they asked that the governor was on holiday, in which she stated that just for your information, he is not on any holiday. In a real sense, nobody from the governor has even mentioned that Mr. Governor is on holiday.
Lamb also added that anybody pushing that might have effortlessly seen the public timetable and also mentioned that Governor has been taking all his official calls and meetings the last week. Therefore, Lamb said that not being publicly present does not mean that he is on any vacation.
