The Njiiru-based police officers arrested John Kimani Muchina at Kayole’s Maana area following a tip off by members of the public that the suspect was traveling to a home frequented by some shady people.
In the dramatic incident at 11am police immediately jumped into action and swarmed the residence, taking the suspect from his guard.
A thorough search was conducted within the home and a homemade gun that could shoot with live ammunition was found.
The other items found were an unidentified motorcycle-made boxer, six phone pockets with ignition keys for motorcycles and vehicles, six pocket phones, vehicle keys as well as an insurance certificate Mobile phone accessories, five wallets that were empty along with a gas mask as well as three front porches. The suspect was put in police custody in order to await any further legal action. The items that were seized are in secure custody and will later be presented as evidence.
