“The Man Who Fell To Earth” series will be released this spring on Showtime. Showtime has dropped the first teaser trailer for their upcoming science fiction series, The Man Who Fell To Earth, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Naomie Harris are cast in the series. The teaser trailer gives us a concise look at the lead character of the series Faraday, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, an alien trying to figure out his purpose after landing on Earth.
Actor Naomie Harris plays Justin Falls, a human that makes contact with Faraday and also tries to help him to set up and live to do whatever he has been sent to do.
The teaser trailer is less than a minute. To be accurate it is only forty-nine seconds long but provides a glance into the adventure. Many famous faces that can be seen in the teaser trailer and in the series also are Clarke Peters who is famous for Da 5 Bloods, Jimmi Simpson from Westworld, Rob Delaney from the movie Deadpool 2.
Some characters have also been cast in the series but they cannot be seen in the teaser trailer are Josh Herdman who played the character of Goyle in the Harry Potter movies and Kate Mulgrew from Orange is the New Black.
This series is adapted from the book named “The Man Who Fell To Earth ” which was written in the year 1963 and written by Walter Tevis. A very popular movie of 1976 which is also titled The Man Who Fell To Earth was also made by taking the help of this Novel which stars David Bowie who is famous for his iconic orange hair and Rip Torn.
This movie is directed by one of the most impressive British filmmakers Nicolas Roeg and from this, he became a cult classic. The series seems to be remaining devoted to the story of the earlier incarnation, but will allow us to know the true story from the book since the length of the TV Series allows for more time to explore the material as this TV Series contains a total of ten episodes.
The showrunner for the series is none other than Alex Kurtzman. He created Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds for CBS and Alex Kurtzman also wrote many super hit movies like The Mummy and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Alex Kurtzman will also give his direction to the movie titled “Hallo, Spaceboy.”
Basically, The series was refined by CBS All Access in August 2019, but after the duty and all other business Paramount Plus, it was announced that the series would become exclusive to Showtime. The noticeable and quite divergent storytelling instincts of the two creators behind the series name: The Man Who Fell To Earth are assured to create an attractive blend.
