American Underdog, hit the big screen barely a month ago and now its home video release has been announced officially. The movie was about the National Football League and told the inspiring story of Hall of Fame Quarterback Kurt Warner.

Starting February 4, American Underdog will be available to own on Digital and will also be available on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and On-Demand on February 22. Reports say that this release will include behind-the-scenes, deleted scenes, and also a feature-length commentary track with directors and producers.
It was released in theatres on December 15, 2021, in TCL Chinese theatres, and December 25, 2021, in the US by Lionsgate. The film was well-received by audiences and got many critical acclamations. It also had a gross collection of over $21 million.

‘American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story ‘is a biopic that centers on the quarterback Kurt Warner, a football player who had an unconventional rise to becoming an NFL champion. As the title suggests this is a football fairy tale. The movie narrates the story of Warner who went from a stock boy in a grocery store to becoming a two-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Hall of Fame quarterback for the St. Louis Rams. It depicts the challenges and struggles that kept him from his dreams of playing in the NFL.along with his professional journey, it speaks about his personal life also. The film shows how he met his wife Brenda who is also a calendar model and single mother of two kids. Her presence was one of the greatest blessings in his life.
Later Kurt approaches Jim Foster who introduces him to Arena football and his quest to the Super Bowl. It portrays the love and support of his wife Brenda, and the encouragement of his family, coaches, and teammates. It is through this unconditional backing Warner achieves the strength to show the world the champion that he already is.

The film stars Zachary Levi as Kurt Warner, Anna Paquin as Brenda Warner, Ser’Darius Blain as Mike Hudnutt, Dennis Quaid as Dick Vermeil, Chance Kelly as Mike Martz, Adam Baldwin as Terry Allen, and much more. Cinematography is done by Kristopher Krillin and music is by John Debney.
