Dungeons and Dragons’ next anthology is written entirely by Black and brown authors

The next book in the series of Dungeons and Dragons will be a compilation of 13 amazing adventures compiled and written by the team of 16 black and brown authors. The new book is named Journeys through the Radiant Citadel; it will add a secretive new drifting city to the original game. The book will be accessible for the fans from 21st June 2022. The 224-page Dungeons and Dragons book will include 13 anthology adventures that are associated with the Radiant Citadel, a secretive city at the core of the Ethereal Plane, and present new characters, beasts, and many more.

The design of this upcoming book was co-driven by Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft author, Ajit George, and Wizards of the Coast senior designer for games F. Wesley Schneider. During a press release, Ajit George stated that the new project outgrew his experience filling in as an independent creator for D&D distributer Wizards of the Coast in the year 2020.

George was also one of the writers associated with making Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft, a widely praised source book distributed last year (2021). The fans will be able to get copies of Journeys through the Radiant Citadel on the North American stores from 21st June 2022. More information in regards to its release will be announced by the publishers soon. The new book’s cover was designed by the talented Evyn Fong while an elective cover was designed by Sija Hong will also be made available t the fans via game stores.
