The Best Nintendo Switch games in 2021

Nintendo Switch Games

This is the guide to choosing your favorite switch games this year

1)Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl

The game is one of the most recent ones and was released in November 2021, These are the remakes of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and don’t offer anything very different from the originals, but it suits many players

Battling and Catching the unique Pokémon creatures has always proven to be a winning formula and people effortlessly spend hours doing the same. Keep in mind that Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are essentially the same game.

2)The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the original Switch title from the console’s launch back in 2017, but it’s still the best Nintendo Switch game on many players lists. Set in a very wide-open world, it takes the classic Zelda elements and shakes them up to create an absolute pearl of a game.

3)Super Mario Odyssey

Odyssey is considered as a magical, incoherent Mario game in which each of the worlds has its costumes, gears, and gimmicks, along with its defining aesthetic visuals. Every Mario game has its twist and storyline. In Odyssey, that comes in the form of Cappy, a sentient hat that allows you to possess objects, animals, and enemies to help you on the journey to save Princess Peach from Bowser.

To enjoy yourself with your friends, there’s a two-player option in which one player controls Mario and the other one controls Cappy. Whichever way you choose to play, this game for sure offers classic Nintendo fun.

4)Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Since its inception in 1992, Countless others have taken on the Mario Kart formula. It wasn’t until Mario Kart 8, that it matched the brilliance of the SNES original, with the stunning work of imagination and craft.

The release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a few years later, is going to be the best in the series to date. Most importantly it has also added a new brilliant Battle Mode to complete the package. It’s thrillingly close to perfection.

5) Animal Crossing: New Horizons

For having the best fun for all the family, it is best to go with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. From the starting point of an uninhabited island, you can construct your own home, add your furniture and decorations and even customize the landscape to attract visitors. If you’re not working on improving your island then there are plenty of other activities to keep yourself entertained. This includes getting to know the residents, fishing, fossil collecting or simply gardening. It’s a fun game to play with the family.

6)Splatoon 2

It is based on a glorious team-based shooter with a unique territory. The arenas found are great, the soundtrack of the game rocks, and the weapons given is always a pleasure to use.

7)Celeste

If you like the old-school platform games, then you have to experience Celeste, which is considered probably the finest game of its kind in recent years. The controls to use are very simple (run, jump, dash, and wall-grab), levels are designed beautifully in stunning pixels, and the level of difficulty begins refreshingly hard and just keeps climbing as you go on.

8)Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise is an action game that will transport players to the colorful Kamura Village, an all-new serene mountain locale that attracts visitors with its unique culture and innovative hunting technologies. As players defeat monsters and progress through the game, items from fallen foes can be used to craft unique weapons and armor that will increase their chances of future success and survival. Hunters can tackle these challenges solo, or with up to three other players in local or cooperative online play.

9)Picross S

Picross has become such an embedded part of Nintendo’s handheld portfolio that it’s easy to forget it’s there. It’s easy to think these aren’t video games at all – they’re close relatives to sudoku, living alongside them in some publications as nonograms, and they offer the simple thrill of logic and deduction.

10). Dark Souls: Remastered

If Celeste isn’t challenging enough, then Dark Souls is the game for you. The fiendish (yet almost entirely fair) level of difficulty in the game has become something of a modern rite of passage for gamers. With enough practice, you’ll learn the techniques to overcome enemies while leveling up your character and collecting better weapons, armor, and other items that can make your life slightly easier. You’ll also come to marvel at the stunning world-building and lore that underlies the whole Dark Souls experience. It’s not for everyone (and certainly not for kids), but once it gets its hooks into you, this game is hard to walk away from.
