WhatsApp users can soon share contact cards on Windows Beta.
WhatsApp is continually improving the user experience by releasing a few new features. The messaging app released contact card sharing in the Windows beta update. WABetaInfo claims that users will be able to share contact cards within the chat share sheet.
WABetaInfo stated that the entry point “Contacts”, if enabled by the user’s WhatsApp account, will be available. Furthermore. The recipient can add the contact card to their address book by sharing it with someone else.

The contact cards sharing feature was only available to a few users who downloaded WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.22.47.2.0 via the Windows Store. WABetaInfo shared a screenshot showing the new feature, which showed a contact open icon after clicking the attach icon in the chat window.
WhatsApp is reportedly working to improve its desktop app. The company also announced that it will be adding password protection to the messenger. WABetaInfo reports that the feature will allow users to set a screen lock on WhatsApp for Desktop. This will provide additional security for the computer or laptop if it is not being used.
