Microsoft will Soon Include WiFi Hotspot function to Windows11

Microsoft has announced that it is adding its Instant Wi-Fi Hotspot feature into Windows 11. Windows 11 operating system, via which you are able to activate the Wi-Fi hotspot in your connected Galaxy smartphone.

On the other hand, Samsung has been constantly cooperating in partnership with Google and Microsoft in the last few years. In the beginning, Microsoft’s Wear OS3 operating system had been available to Samsung for over an entire year, and Microsoft’s Phone Link feature was first made available on Galaxy phones.

Furthermore Microsoft’s Xbox cloud gaming has become available as a standard feature on Samsung’s Tizen-based smart TVs . It has added a second feature exclusively on Galaxy phones.

The new feature is available for laptops and computers that are running the preview version of Windows 11 (build 25231). It is only available for Galaxy phones at present. Already having tried Apple’s macOS along with Google’s Chrome OS, many Windows users have requested it.

This new feature is an element of Microsoft’s Phone Link service. When you pair your Galaxy phone to a computer that runs Windows 11, you can view the phone’s Wi-Fi settings. This allows you to turn on the phone’s Wi-Fi hotspot via your laptop. There is no need to manually connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot, and enter the network password into your computer. Everything will be smooth.

To make use of this feature, you’ll require a Windows 11 (22H2 Build 22621) laptop or a PC that has Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as phone link Phone Link app (v1.22082.111.0).
