Biden says Putin's nuclear threat biggest risk since the Cuban Missile Crisis

US president Mr. Joe Biden recently stated that Putin’s nuclear threat biggest risk since the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Joe Biden stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s threat to utilize nuclear weapons posed the greatest risk since the Cuban Missile Crisis. He further added that Washington was also trying to find out Putin’s ramp-off.

Despite what it refers to as Putin’s “nuclear saber-rattling,” the White House has repeatedly stated that it has not observed any indication that Russia is preparing to use nuclear weapons. However, Biden made it clear on Thursday that he was keeping an eye on Putin to see how he might react as Ukraine’s military gains ground against Russian invaders. Biden stated to Democratic donors in New York, “For the first time since the Cuban Missile Crisis, we have a direct threat to the use of nuclear weapons if things continue down the path they’d been going.” We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban missile crisis,” he added.

The United States under President John F. Kennedy and the Soviet Union under its leader, Nikita Khrushchev, came close to using nuclear weapons during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis due to the presence of Soviet missiles in Cuba.

Biden said that Putin is “not joking when he talks about the potential use of tactical nuclear weapons or biological or chemical weapons, because his military is, you might say, significantly under-performing and that Putin is “not joking.”I don’t think it’s possible to use a tactical nuclear weapon without having to worry about Armageddon,” Biden stated.
