It’s officially announced that Queen Bey will be arriving in the Bay. The 28-time Grammy Award winner Beyonce has announced her highly anticipated Renaissance World Tour on Wednesday morning, and will be making the tour scheduled to stop at Santa Clara this summer. If you’re hoping to win Beyonce tickers, now is the time to plan your trip.
The “Crazy in Love” performer is scheduled to perform in Levi’s Stadium on Aug. 30 before concluding her California performances at Los Angeles the following week. The concert will be the first time that Beyonce has performed on her own Bay Area appearance since her Formation World Tour in 2016.
Live Nation’s 47-date concert series is a part of Beyonce’s 2022 album “Renaissance,” which was the album with the highest number of nominations at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. The audience will hear new hits from the past like “Move,” “Heated” and “Virgo’s Groove” and also classic songs from Beyonce’s long career.
Live Nation appears to be rolling out new ticket buying procedures to help prepare for the anticipated demand (and likely to avoid another repeat of the Taylor Swift tour fiasco).

People who want to buy tickets to any of her North American shows will have to sign up using Live Nation’s verified fan system which is which is a “lottery-style procedure” created “to aid in the identification of those who want to sell tickets, and to provide an uncrowded ticket purchasing experience for fans” according to the Live Nation website.
Also, registering for tickets isn’t a guarantee that you’ll receive them, but it definitely increases the odds of getting one for free.
To put your cap in the ring ensure that you sign up for any of the three sales on the Ticketmaster. Fans who have registered and are randomly chosen to be part of the sale will receive access codes by text message one day prior to the sale begins. Those who don’t qualify will be put on waiting lists. (Tip: Fans are permitted to sign up to attend multiple pre-sales should they be eligible, register for more presales to boost the odds of being selected).
