Christensen Farms was honored to be named the 2023 New Ulm Chamber Large Businesses of the Year. We are very grateful for this recognition.

JoDee Haala, Christensen Farms Public Relations Director, said that Bob Christensen was the founder of the company. FFA was his passion. At the age of 13, he was given two pigs and built a company with more than 1,000 employees in Minnesota and Iowa. It is now one of the largest pork producers in the U.S.

Haala stated that “we’re uniquely placed to produce some of the most sustainable food in this world.” We produce crops, feed livestock, and restore the soil. The world will have over 9 billion people by 2050 with a shortage of beef, pork, and poultry. This award is an honor and a humble honor for us.
