The Superfans survey was shared with the Amazon Prime Video UK YouTube channel. It was facilitated by Mistah Islah, a BBC Asian Network Presenter, and highlighted “the partnership of powerhouses” that included Chanel Williams, Joel Rochester, and Kelsey Ellison.
When asked by Islah to portray the mystery trailer in three words, Williams reacts first saying, “Amazing, I in a real sense didn’t breathe. Thrilling and charming.”
Then, Rochester expressed, “I would agree that it is costly because we’re getting this different from investigating the Second Age on screen. Also, it will be so astonishing.”
He proceeded, “I likewise need to say agent since we’re getting greater variety inside this series. Like we’re seeing our first dark Elf. We’re seeing the principal female Dwarf. I’m truly anticipating it.”
At long last, he finished up, “And afterward I get it’s charming because this time of history inside Middle-earth is extremely overflowing with thoughts of the plot of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and perceiving how the rings of force are being fashioned.”
Ellison then said, “I would agree awestruck, perplexed, and awed.” In the following piece, Islah starts saying, “Thus, in the mystery trailer there’s a ton of stuff that you’ve most likely learned about it – we’re acquainted with the principal dark Elf, we’re acquainted with the primary female Dwarf. Presently, variety particularly on screen as an entertainer implies a ton to me since growing up I barely saw that sitting in front of the TV and watching a ton of movies and stuff. I never saw individuals of my shading so it’s energizing to see that variety is being investigated in The Rings of Power.”
I mean we see it through The Fellowship. Like a lot of individuals from various foundations meeting up to confront a shared adversary being Sauron.”
“It’s simply going to mean such a great amount to me actually because it’s getting that portrayal in Middle-earth. Little youngsters will see that on-screen and it’s simply going to be truly great for them to be like, ‘Goodness, hello, there’s somebody that appears as though me.’ It resembles an Elf and a Dwarf. Furthermore, it simply fills me with a ton of expectation for the fate of The Rings of Power. Furthermore seeing substantially more variety being incorporated too,” he finishes up his contemplations.
Islah adds, “It will rouse, correct? For the future.” Rochester affirms, “Certainly.”
Williams is then incited to give her contemplations which she does, “In the first film series, which I venerated, however, there are relatively few ladies in it. Furthermore, the three ladies who are in it never address each other. So it will actually be cool to have the option to see more female portrayals. To perhaps see their interface with each other. Extremely eager to see it.”
Also, as you said (pointing towards Williams) like growing up like I was as yet amped up for being an Elf or a Hobbit and participating with it even though I wasn’t addressed either like my inability or my eccentricity wasn’t addressed. Yet, it simply makes me so blissful. Makes my heart warm to see more youthful individuals… (Prime Video cuts the section here).
