Remakes and recreations are one of the most trendy activities in the entertainment industry right now. What makes it so special is the memories and nostalgia connected with the earlier releases of the shows or the movies. Therefore, several directors and creators are focusing on bringing out some flashback pieces of art for fans and followers across the world. One such example is the ‘Life Goes On’ Sequel.

Life Goes On is basically a show from the 90s revolving around a protagonist who happens to be mentally challenged. The show has been loved massively by the viewers since the beginning and several fans admit watching it again and again throughout the intervals of time. It has received global praise by not only the viewers but also the critics and the industry members. Right now, a recreation of the show is under discussion and there are some positive signs about it. 

NBC has finally given a green signal to the making of the show all over again with many modern touches to it. It was first announced in September month of 2021 and now things are finally moving towards the making. The creators are focused on bringing the show as positively as it was made earlier. Star Kellie Martin is also said to be returning this time. The writer of the new series is Okoro Carroll along with being the executive producer of the show as well. Another executive producer for the show is Lindsay Dunn whereas the producer of the show happens to be Chad Lowe. 

Apart from that, the plot of the show is being viewed as a revisiting of the main character who will be shown as a successful medical professional. She will be catching up with her hometown and this can engage the viewers with experiencing a good amount of nostalgia. Originally, the series was launched on ABC in 1989 till 1993. Since then, it has received global love, awards, nominations, and acknowledgment.

Some interviews with the star cast also hint towards the positive signs of the making of the show. Although the makers are completely dependent on the hype and demand of the show, it is being said that they have considered starting off soon. In an interview, Martin replied by asking for the making of the series if the fans really want it. Along with that, the producer followed the statement by saying to file a petition for it. While the makers seemed to be playing with the fans and admirers as they are definitely bringing it to the table, a hype has already been created. Hopefully, fans can expect a release as soon as possible.
