Recently, Netflix took the lead to showcase the lives of some of the popular Tik Tok stars through an original series. To our surprise, the show represents how being a star might feel heavy a lot of times.

The stars on the show talk about how they cannot showcase their actual feelings in front of the camera many times. They also share that they are expected to be on the glam and shine always. But that only ends up feeling more heavier than ever. Alex Warren, the 20-year-old millionaire says how it feels dumb to be depressed despite being a millionaire just because of the expectations of the fans that he cannot be depressed.

Another set of similar ordinary teens also agrees that fame has caused them more worrying than happiness. They constantly feel scared of losing fame as fast as they gained it. With apps like Tik Tok, it is easier to rise to fame but very difficult to maintain. More and more people are rising to show some skills and gain fandom but they don’t realize that it comes with a short timeframe most of the time.

Queer Eye Season 7: Complete Details about Release Date, and Cast

Here is when the Netflix series makes a mark on all the articles and talks about how these stars feel more than amazing today. The show brings out reality in the most realistic manner possible. With the rise of influencers, another trend of gathering brand deals has also risen. This trend has also affected both negative and positive manners. While on one hand, the deals bring security and satisfaction to the artists, it also brings a lot of stress to the young minds. This can come out to be a toxic era for youngsters ahead.

A huge gold rush competition has developed among the influencers and no one wants to feel any lesser. In a more teen language, it can be said that these young stars are afraid of FOMO. ‘FOMO’ is Fear of Missing Out. And just out of this blue, several youngsters take on work they won’t do otherwise or constantly pressure themselves up to do.

Will the series make a change in the understanding between the teen stars? Hopefully, the aim of the series is to bring out the stressful journey to the limelight. It aims to depict the dark side of the creator economy and how worrying it can get to them. Let’s hope the aims of the series are reached and understood well.
