The Minto manhunt by the New Brunswick RCMP is over, and one individual is now in custody
The public is now free to leave their homes and resume their regular activities, according to the New Brunswick RCMP, who said the hunt for an armed man in Minto is completed and one suspect is in custody. Around 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, an emergency alert was sent out instructing locals in the Minto area to lock their doors and take cover inside as authorities searched for a man they thought to have a gun and was planning to use it.
